Affirmations for Mothers

I’m always wondering how to be a better mom, often beating myself up because I falter in this motherhood thing. So I’m teaching myself to look at mothering differently and try not to take everything so personal.

So this brings me to the word “affirmations,” which is emotional support or encouragement. Using these affirmations I found could be a daily event where you spend some quality time with your children, teaching them some good “healthy thinking habits”. You could do this every morning before you send them off to school, starting the day out with a happy and positive attitude.

Let’s call it our own personal “Healthy Mind 30 day Challenge”. Start Day One saying the affirmation first thing in the morning and as many times as you think about it throughout your day. What do you have to lose? It’s certainly not going to hurt anyone! Affirmations 1. I love myself. 2. I can do anything I put my mind to. 3. I am successful in whatever I do. 4. I am loved. 5. I am making things happen. 6. I trust myself in making great decisions. 7. I persist with confidence. 8. I embrace my fears fully and calmly. 9. I deeply love and accept myself. 10. I am able to solve problems creatively. 11. I am vibrant and have lots of energy. 12. I appreciate every single moment of the day. 13. There is a solution to every problem. 14. I feel the joy of abundance. 15. The universe provides for my every want and need. 16. I see endless opportunities before me. 17. I am inspired to take action every day. 18. I am powerfully positive in everything I think, do and say. 19. I radiate positive energy. 20. Everything I do turns into success. 21. I am living my full potential. 22. I see the bright side in all situations. 23. I am in control of my life. 24. Today, I will spread joy in random and beautiful ways. 25. I am strong. Did you know that the quality of your life is the way you think about yourself, how happy you are and the level of your self-esteem? One small action can change the world; it’s just like the ripple effect. The Ripple Effect is based on the understanding that we are all connected. These connections stretch like an incredibly interwoven and complicated tapestry. Each of us exists within this tapestry. Thoughts and actions are like stones dropped in a pond and they create ripples that travel outward.

Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives and their reactions, in turn, affect others. The choices you make have far-reaching consequences. Each of us carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. We can use the principles of the Ripple Effect to magnify our actions and their effects. So let’s get started today, together; it always seems easier when you know someone else is there with you! Let’s change our lives and perhaps the world!! Let’s have fun with this – it is not a chore, it is an experience.
